Sinamics S120 and CPU-F

IfI useoneSinamics S120 controlledby an S7-317F-2DP over Profibus/ProfiSafe (i.e. no safety digital inputs, no contactors, no safety relays), can be certified as Cat. 3 only using theProfisafenetwork?If yes, what I need take accountin Sinamicsside? Drives_Coach Posts: 133 Rating: (13)	On the S120 drive you have standard and extended safety functions. They can both be controlled by Profisafe telegram from a failsafe CPU but this requires the safety license for each axis using Safety Integrated functions. Weather the signals for the safety functions on S120 come in from hardwired terminals or the Profisafe telgram the certifications of the S120 Safety Integrated functions do not change.
