SSKK Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Dear All, 1) When i m trying to configure the Drive object automatic configuration(Motor with Drive cliq interface,but i dont know the FW version of motor SMI), I unable to find the motor in topology actual online.What may be the reason?? 2) If i have the CU320 with FW version of V2.5SP1HFf6 But motor with drive cliq FWversion0f V2.5SP2 ,is it possible to configure drive object with this motor? 3) I have S120 CU310 V2.4, i want to update 2.5 SP2,From where i can download Firmware file. Is it possible to extract from simotion-D Firmware file? Thanks..!

DenisMor Posts: 344 Rating: (50)	1. If the SMI module does not appear in the online topology, I would double check DriveCliQ connections, especially DriveCliQ with 24V going to the SMI. The hardware should be present in Actual Online topology, irregardless of the version. 2. Starting with firmware version 2.5, Sinamics implemented an automatic firmware update feature. On power up, DriveCLiQ components on the network (motor modules, TMs, SMCs, SMIs) get updated to the firmware version stored on the flash card. Set and actual topology may need to match for the firmware to initiate and upgrade successfully. So it is possible to configure a drive object with the motor that came with different firmware. 3. Firmware is part of Sinamics MICROMASTER Starter distribution: http://support.automation.siemens.com/US/view/en/26233208 It is not possible to extract Sinamics CU firmware from Simotion firmware.
