That would be static electricity. Non-conductive surfaces do not conduct electricity. To satisfy yourself, check resistance to ground. It should be huge. |

If it is static electricity then what would be voltage value ?? Here checking with meter it shows 43 Volts. Regards, M |

Non-metallic? No. However, it looks like you are covered with conductive dust. Drive is going to fail soon when something arcs. |

That's what I'm seeing. Capacitor in the making with a conductive film. Drive goes poof soon. |
