Hi, should be possible in general: - download the GSD file of S210: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/de/view/109752524 - install the GSD to your TIA - drop the GSD to your network view - in the device view of the GSD add telegram 3 (submodule) to the GSD - network the drive to your S7-1200 PLC - create a technology object Positioning Axis on your PLC - select Profidrive communication in the settings of your TO and connect the GSD file to it as drive and encoder interconnection - program your motion control commands (e.g. MC_MoveVelocity) BUT: Be aware that the S210 was NOT designed to be operated at a S7-1200! The S210 is a very fast Servo drive and is intended to work at an isochronous bus system (which S7-1200 can not deliver) - so do not expect an optimum control quality in your configuration. I will always recommend to use S210 at S7-1500. |

Thanks for answer, I knot not good servo with s7-1200 but for this situation can not change . |

Hello, I just want to give some additional answers about SIMATIC S7-1200 combined with SINAMICS S210. The combination SIMATIC S7-1200 and SINAMICS S210 is not in focus, because SINAMICS S210 is a high dynamic drive which requires IRT communication. IRT Communication will be supported with SIMATIC S7-1500(T) controllers. In the operation Instructions of the SINAMICS S210 you will find a detailed list of the supported telegrams and also a detailed description bit for bit: Standard telegram overview: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109771824/124691001483 Detailed bit view: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109771824/123923848075 When working with SIMATIC S7-1200, then we recommend SIMATIC S7-1200 Firmware V4.2.3 or higher, because with older SIMATIC S7-1200 Firmware versions we faced problems with the data adaption of the maximum and reference speed. If customer does not want to work with FW V4.2.3 or higher, then the data adaption must be deactivated and the maximum (p1082) and reference (p2000) speed must be entered manually. SIMATIC S7-1200 Firmware is available in SIOS: Forum Topic: The combination between SIMATIC S7-1200 and SINAMICS S210 sometimes shows problems in the motor operation. We faced some mechanical noises. These noises where caused by unfortunate settings of the cycle times. If you will face such problems, then just refer to chapter “3.4 Recommendation of time setting with SIMATIC S7-1200” of the application example documentation from S7-1200 to V90 drive.
