PM240-2 is a power module and has no programming.  It is part of either a G120 or S120 system depending on the Control Unit (CU2xx - G120, or CU3xx - S120).

I use Sinamics Starter software.

If the control unit is powered up and functional, you can obtain a current configuration even if the PM240-2 is physically or electrically removed from the system (or powered off).

Some people are moving from Starter to TIA Portal StartDrive with drive control integrated into their portal projects.

That said, if the control unit is functional, Starter can still capture a working copy of the project to your PG/PC even if StartDrive was used to commission the drive.

I need to download software to load a Sinamics PM240-2 drive. I have an ethernet fault and want to make sure the program is not corrupted first. My predecessor backed all the drives up but i do not have the software. What software do I need and where can I get it from?
