Is it possible to control the start of the digital signal and set the speed at modbus?

As you have discovered - this is possible.

Modbus communication can access most (if not all) of the registers that a user can from its built-in screen (BOP). This does not matter where the speed setpoint or run signal comes from.

I cannot remember for that model in particular.. know that the changes made by Modbus is not always retentive. Do check for that.
