Sinumerik 810 GA1 S5D file to %PCP

miroksp Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi. I have an erased Sinumerik 810 GA1 and I need to reload all files (TEA1, TEA2 and PCP). I have all of them, but the PLC file I have is in S5D format and unfortunetly the PLC connection with Step5 program doesn't work with this GA1 since something wrong is with its PLC interface. I need a favour from someone who have a working Sinumerik 810 GA1 to upload an attached S5D file to his GA1 and then download it via V24 in %PCP format. I'm trying to do that with GA2 and GA3, but then I can't download the PCP file to GA1. Best regards, Miro Attachment PLC435ST.zip (494 Downloads)

So far i know: You can transfer it with V24, you must only change the cable. (I think, you mean, your TTY/20mA is damage) Please test it with an other Cable. Regards Karl

Once again: the problem is TTY interface in the Sin.GA1 - I can't connect to it with Simatic Step5 program. All I need is someone who has an working GA1 to load attached S5D file via TTY, and then download a %PCP file to a PC. I need this PCP file since only V24 interface is working on my GA1. Once again: the problem is TTY interface in the Sin.GA1 - I can't connect to it with Simatic Step5 program. Yes, your cable is O,K, You need an other cable ! You can connect with Step 5 too SinGA1 with an V24/RS232. Cable, (Sin.GA1 have booth TTY and V24 . The V24 and TTY are the same DSUB, but only other pins. I think, you read in TTY with COM1, V24 with COM2. (On the Sin.GA1) It is possible, read in with COM1 and V24 (On the Sin.GA1) I hope, you know what i mean. ( I will search Information) I'm not sure, it is with GA1 possible. In GA3 i have it done. I hope, tomorrow i can find Information for you. Karl

Urgent: Make sure, that the V24-Cable is lower the 5 meter. ( inch ? ) Here is the Book_820_with information See Page 125 Capter 7-11 Please Try this. Regards Karl
