You said you just transmit "blocks" what is blocks mean? --I think you have PCIN or Winpcin SW. so check the file I attached to transfer all back up you have--including PCP and PCA. you don't need STEP 5.

1st of all Don't mix things together. PCIN can transfer PLC program in ASIIC code--which you cannot read/ or understand meaning but STEP 5 can transfer S5 code the name like My810T@@.S5D, which you can read by STEP 5 in the format of Ladder or STL, I think you may not have PLC program backup by S5 code, you have PCP.txt for sure but that cannot convert to S5 code, --from you pic's I see you have some FB,'s and DB's , which you said you can transfer . But that is not your m/c real PLC program, they are PLC system blocks stored in EPROM, which YOU NO NEED TO BACK UP OR TRANSFER. Now I give you suggestion for your PCIN TRANSFER REF this link answered by me (your 810TGA3, His 840D with PCU20--your PCIN, his WinPCIN) the guy had similar issue (not same) with you, I think is cable problem. Do you make cable by your self? you made it simple 3 wires TX,RX, GND? I see your display alarm --it seems your cable has no hardware hand shake. so buffer is full --when there is RS232 error, DIO will disappear and transfer will be stopped. I suggest you make better cable --I attached drawing 9-9 pins in that answer, that is easy to Google RS232 cable pinout 25 D to 25 D. making cable at least 5 wires followed drawing. another solution is reduce Baud rate to 600 or 300 ( I don't like this ) PS: I see your pic's the setting data 5011=11000111---that is for 9600 baud rate. I don't know why you said 1200? try as I suggest if you fix it please rate my answer, if not fix, post problem again or you can send PM to me.

Dear nulizhang yeah, you right ,we do not have the S5 code for the PLC backup, therefore we believe that if convert the PCIN backup codes to Step 5 codes, we would be able to transfer the backup files to the system. Or do you believe there are any other possible ways to transfer the.txt files on step 5. there is a way ,told me somebody ,who did that before and had the same, problem. thanks so much Regards p.m: is it possible to you check my %PCP and check it to its OK , Please AttachmentPCP.txt (527 Downloads) |
