Sinumerik 828D - TOOL and WO problem

shiznit Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello Our company just bought a machine with a Sinumerik 828D Basic T panel and when i am adding new tool, the tool position is not a number it is "LL" and after that i cannot add another tool to the list and im getting the following error : "Error in tool load". I am also trying to set WO but i cannot ... maybe because i don't have a normal tool .. i am also getting an error when pressing the set WO button : "Setting WO not possible in MCS". How can i fix this problem ? Please someone help me ! Thanks

Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (484)	Hello, Looks like it is new machine? before this have you called. Without the Tool mangement the Tools are not going to updated..May be you are calling it wrong. Please use G54 in the MDA mode your Work offset will get active. Check it out and revert back. With regards, Prakash

shiznit Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	The machine is new and it came with this tool problem. I can create only one tool but when i am trying to load it into a location the loading panel gets stuck and the tool isnt loading, it remains on "LL" position Ps.
