I have Vertical Lath machine from italy and the contol is Sinumerik 840C.Today when operator on the machine then hydraulic is on and immediately off when i checked by the help of electrical drawing the plc cpu output A0.0 is off during this procedure and cut the hydraulic on System supply but why this happen i dont konw because i dont have plc program so that now i want to interface this control with my personal computer. I have Siemes Step5 V7.23 Windows based software and also siemens RS232 to TTY converter but i dont know the procedure. i have checked this cable and software with siemens s5-95u plc and i am easily online with plc by using these two tools. Now tell me the complete procedure to online with this plc by using these tools. i am very thankful to you. immediate response is required. Regards

Use,9pin to 25 pin cable Connection are as follow. 9 pin 25 pin 2------------2 3------------3 5------------7 Connect this directly to RS232 or COM port of your PC. best luck.
