saeedplc Posts: 288 Rating: (4)	hello. we have a machine with sinumerik 840d. in this machine i can see plc program and monitoring it with simatic manager(step7 menu).i found that the program has been saved in f:/user/... i went to this directory and save the program on flash memory then i opened the program in my laptop but there is only hardware configured and there isn't any block(fc,fb,db and etc). what is the problem? best regards.

(when we open the program on hmi from step7 menu and archive it the symbols,udt will not be saved.we need the plc source file to access the symboles). do you know where the source file is? best regards.

saeedplc Posts: 288 Rating: (4)	i test the program in two version of simatic manager. the program open in simatic manager v5.3 without any problem but in v5.5 it has problem and only hardware is displayed. perhaps something in v5.5 should be modified! best regards.
