Sinumerik 840D sl: write my own M-code to set motor speed

I want to set the speed of the sandfeeder (a DC motor) with an M-code. So I can write for example M200 in my program to set the motor speed at 200rpm. Isit possible to do something like this? The motorspeed is adjusted through the plc by setting the voltage. kind regards

Can you give me some more information about the H-functions, I have never heard of these and I can't find information about it in the manuals. You can find the value of the H function in DB21 (i.e. DB21.DBD 142) together with the change signal (i.e. DB21.DBX 64.0). You must parametrize the H function exactly as a M function in general MD. For example if you write in the NC program: . . H=200 . . You will find in DB21.DBD 142 the value "200". You must pay attention to read the value only when DB21. DBX 64.0 is high (for 1 OB1 cycle).
