Sipart PS2 PA does not work in Auto mode

Hi to all

I've four valves with a sipart ps2 PA, i've followed the manual, and i've perfomed the auto initialization in a good way.

the problem is when i change the status from manual to auto mode.

In auto mode the valve go in safety position and it don't want follow the set point.

With PDM i can see the set point, and the pposition stay 0.

Any one have any suggest?

In the module  READBACK-POS_D-SP, we have:

7 bytes for READBACK and POS_D 

5 bytes for SP, for this we have from 0 to 3 the set point in real, the last byte is the status code, and while you don't write in hex 0x80, the valve status will be always in safety position.

Hi Ducccio,

I would like to know each bit info/description in the status byte. For example 16#80 (bit 8=1) corresponds to Automode.

I have connected this bit 8 in my plc logic to create fault and Controller goes out of auto mode. some times i miss this bit for short duration and comes back without any reason. Also don't see any error message log in the instrument.

Anybody has an idea!!
