Profibus FMS in Siprotec is only available for Sicam PAS or Sicam SAS products, not S7. If you want to get the fault record files (including Voltage disturbance) either you use a suitable protocol as IEC103 or IEC61850 (S7 with some addons can communicate with Siprotec, but not retrieve fault records), or you can use Recprotec, which is a software from the Energy Automation (same as Siprotec) which uses a dedicated network to read fault record files from Siprotec. You have to use the serial port locate in the backside of Siprotec (Port C), apart from the communication port (B). Attached you have a picture which shows a topology for Recprotec, and an example of fault record file. This is the "disturbance record" from the Siprotec, which you can get via Recprotec, IEC61850 or FMS. If you don't have a suitable software to open de CFG file, download a demo version of Sigra, which isa fault record analyser, part of Digsi. http://siemens.siprotec.de/download_neu/software/SIGRA_4/Program-Demo/SIGRA4_DEMO_en.exe Mike J Attachment Recprotec.zip (269 Downloads)

As of now it is not possible to procure this.I want you ask you regarding how to create the 250ms archive cycle in taglogging ? Using this i will able to show the records some what nearer compare to 500ms. Give me your best solution for this....

I need the datas regarding, Integration in wincc or it seperate only ? What are all the ordering datas ? Like these short ofdatas i need... Could you help me ?

Contact your regional Siemens office. The MLFB, for the option without modem connection,is 6MD5530-0CS00-6AA0. The software itself has nothing to do with WinCC. Some components are shared with Sicam PAS CC, in case you have it. For WinCC, sometimes we just configure the startup option for Recprotec and buttons for calling up the Recprotec Explorer (a manager for Fault Records). Mike J

In my case i kept my OS as a time master AS as a time slave it is working.But when i tried to change the local time of OS it is not updated in siprotech ( i am doing thisin runtime).I found that client station time is changing with respect to OS.When i deactive & reactivatethe runtime in OS time is changed in siprotech. Wheather it is the procedure or myself i doing some wrong things. Guide me.....

Maybe Siprotec or Profibusneeds time to correct the synchronization.I know some systems that don'tchange the time at once when the difference between telegrams is big, because this could be an error in the clock. Do you know how often Profibus DP master is sending clock telegrams? Better contact support.energy@siemens.com Mike J
