SITOP Output 24V/40A broken

makaveli Posts: 259 Rating: (5)	Hi, I have problem with SITOP 6EP1 437-3BA00 Input AC 500V Output DC 24V/40A. Before this power module I have on each phase fusible 20A they are burned. I put new one I disconnected outputs cables and switch main power on immediately fuses was broken. I check cables between fuses and sitop and everything was all right. I dismount module take out cover but I don't see any visible damage. Maybe someone have similar problem with this module... With regards, makaveli Attachment SITOP.zip (296 Downloads)

Ayman Elotaify Platinum Expert Joined: 5/28/2008 Last visit: 9/9/2024 Posts: 4515 Rating: (839)	Hello makaveli, To avoid this problem, I recommend to follow the data sheet of the power supply by connecting a minuture circuit breaker on the inputs with the following specifications: 3-pole connected miniature circuit breaker 10 ... 16 A characteristic C or circuit breaker 3RV1021-1DA10, setting 3 A or 3RV1721-1DD10 (UL 489) Here'slinkof the Power supply specifications. So I thing maybe you experts have some diagrams or scheme to this.... maybe can be easy repair....? PS. At least at 2 fase. With regards, makaveli

IBN-Service Posts: 8946 Rating: (999)	Sorry, I have no idea how to get thus diagramms... But a "cheap trick": Once, I have a problem like yours. Can't get spare part over the weekend. So, the customer uses some Starter batterys for powersupply, recharging them over night. In worst case, that can be a solution... Good luck anyway!

I try outside this machine but effect was the same: burned fuses and sparks on Sitop:-) Maybe someone know more or less what is the price of this part (SITOP 6EP1 437-3BA00 Input AC 500V Output DC 24V/40A)? With regards, makaveli Hello, His idea was to find the reason/s for that burned SITOP eventually. I hope you checked already there. About the price of SITOP - because here according to the rules is not allowed to mention some numbers, I suggest you to take a look at CA01 Catalog 2011. (Hope you know russian language).
