sitrans lut400 output current

madatix Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone, we have a sitrans lut400 level controller and it was working fine. then we has a wrong reading and when i checked, the current output is fixed on 1.6 mA all parameters are assigned correctly nothing was changed, i tried to simulate the output by setting the output current to manual, nothing changed also i have measured using HART output but the same problem remains fixed on 1.8 mA i checked the circuits inside it looks normal no damaged components also i tried MASTER RESET with no change. could anyone help with this issue ? madatix Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	i've checked the link, it specifies the distance for low calibration ( 1.6 distance unit ) which will be assigned to 4 mA anyway i will check more further

These should be 10% and 90% of maximum. I mean what is the level set @ parameter 2.5.3 ? While measuring make sure that physical level is above this parameter value, so that mA reading is proper. If passive, have you confirmed the external power supply? If active, then there is two possibilities. 1 - the current loop impedance level has changed 2 - the output on the LUT400 has failed I would suggest you disconnect your current loop and measure directly on the output terminal block.
