SITRANS MAGFLO 5100 W Configuration

claracenac Posts: 2 Rating: (1)	Good morning, We just finished installing a SITRANS 5100 W in a vertical line, to measure in thousands of liters (m3) the water poured into tank trucks. The actual flow of that line is about 60 m3/h ~ 70 m3/h. What we can't figure out, is how to modify the Qmax from the sensor. It is set to 20 m3/h and I would like to take it to 80 m3/h. When I go into setup menu (using the factory password), it let's me see the Qmax setting but I can't change it. Is it possible for me to solve this? Thanks in advanced,

To do this, you need to get into the hidden menu: Imagine the buttons on the display numbered 1, 2, & 3 on the top row and 4, 5, & 6 on the bottom (left to right). Press & hold button 1 until "0000" appears. Now press button 4 twice to change pass code to "1000" and press button 6 to enter the code and reach the hidden menu. The display will shortly change to read "basic settings". You're in! Now press button 6 to enter "basic settings" areaand then button 2 to drill down into basic settings until you get to Q-Max. Change Q-max by pressing 6 to unlock the feature (you'll see the lock symbol in the lower right change to unlocked), then press 5 to movethe cursor to the digit you want to change. Change the digit's value with button 4. If you go too far, just keep going andthe digit will wrap over to 0 again. Repeat this for each digit and when done, lock the valueby pressingbutton 6 again. If it does not accept the value, you went under or over the range of the flowmeter. Press button 1 twice to get out of the hidden menu and back tothe main measuring screen. Yesterday, last time I tried, I entered into the setup menu (hidden as you say) but the Q-max setting does not unlocks... it doesn't even has the loked icon in the screen like it was a read only feature, but when I keep scrolling, I can set the Frecuency and some other stuff so I know I am inside the "hidden menu". What can it be? it is locked? Thanks again,

sharath_cv Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Dear sir, MAg 5000 with Mag 5100W As the Calibration certificate is valid only for 1 Year. & as i have consulted Siemens local representative & he has told me that there is no necassity to recalibrate & only zero point adjustment has to be done. But if you see the manual it shows Zero point adjustment as automatic. Kindly let me know how to do the zero pint adjustment?????
