Hello, For the first time using this product: Sitrans Probe LU. I read that you can program it via HART protocol. I own a programming console from another device. http://www2.emersonprocess.com/siteadmincenter/pm%20rosemount%20documents/00809-8020-0001.pdf I was wondering if this console could also be used on the Probe LU. I'm not familiar about. Thank you

Hello automatizzando; Here is the manual for the Sitrans Probe LU, with HART protocol: SITRANS Probe LU (mA/HART) - Operating Instructions https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/fr/en/view/109482629 Siemens offers a handheld HART communicator for the Sitrans Probe LU, it uses IR communications with the instrument. I am not sure whether a 3rd-party communicatorcan easily be used for programming th unit. I suggest tou open a Support Request and ask Siemens techs if you can connect with your specific HART communicator to the Sitrans Probe LU unit to change parameters. Hi , you can use a HART Communicator 275/375 for the programming of the Probe LU. Please find the DD attached. Additional., you also can use Simatic PDM to program the Probe LU via HART. Hope this helps ! Attachmentdd.zip (99 Downloads) |
