First, the Probe LU has 2 variants, one that is PROFIBUS PA and the other variant is 4 to 20mA with HART communication. Here are the manuals of both variants. SITRANS Probe LU (PROFIBUS PA) - Instruction Manual SITRANS Probe LU (HART) - Instruction Manual In both manuals you will find wiring chapter at page 14. I guess you have the 4 to 20mA (HART) one (If you have the PA Probe LU then it's another story). in page 14 you will read, Notes: . Use shielded, twisted pair cable (wire gauge AWG 22 to AWG 14/ 0.34 mm2 to 2.08 mm2). On the other hand you will have to know which analog input module you have from the S7-300 family. All S7-300 modules are covered in this manual. For all analog input modules you will find 2 schemes for current measurement. One that's for 2-wiretransducers and the other is for 4-wire transducers. The Probe LU is a 2-wire transmitter. So, you will search for the analog module first and then see the2-wire connection scheme (2DMU)under this module. Best regards. H-H
