blowouter Posts: 32 Rating: (2)	Hello everyone i have sitrans probe lu hart sensor i program it to measure volume when it work the Lcd gives the volume amount as i program it but when i connect it to plc(AI8*13bit) and scale it using FC105 it gives wrong readings is this kind of sensor need special analog module ?

blowouter Posts: 32 Rating: (2)	Thanks jklm you mean that i can't connect sitrans probe lu (Hart) to any analog module only specific analog modules such that E200m extension modules such as sm331 AI8 with serial number 6ES7331-7TF01-0AB0

They offer specific features. On the other hand, if you want to use a standard analog board, you should follow the recommendation from this FAQ: What should you watch out for when using HART measuring transducers in conjunction with S7-300 analog input modules that do not support HART signals? http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/27839768
