sitrans tf sensor definition

camacho Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	dear all Ihave a TEMP transmitter of type SITRANS TF(7ng 3132) and i have a problem which is the factory setting is made based on the sensor is RTD but i want to use it with a thermo couple i tried with all the parameters but no one of them is responsible of that is this could be made with hart communicator ?and if the answer is yes are there any other definitions or adjustments could be doneby it? Here is some of the info I gathered on the Internet, with available links: Manual “Sitrans TF Operating Instructions”Operation and parameterization 5.1 Operating the SITRANSTH200/TH300 Operation and parameterization The SITRANS TH200 is parameterized and operated offline and the SITRANS TH300 online via a PC. You can find more information in the "SITRANS TH200 and TH300 for sensor head" Operating instructions. The PC is connected to the two-wire line using a suitable coupling module. In the case of the SITRANS TH300, the HART modem is a suitable coupling module; for the SITRANS TH200, it is the SIPROM T-modem. The SITRANS TH300 can also be parameterized using a HART communicator. The signals needed for SITRANS TH300 communications in accordance with the HART protocol are superimposed on the output current in accordance with frequency shift keying. Frequency Shift keying is also abbreviated to FSK.
