Hello camacho; At first glance, you will need a TH300 transmitter inside the Sitrans TF head, with a HART modem and PDM software. Here is some of the info I gathered on the Internet, with available links: Manual “Sitrans TF Operating Instructions”Operation and parameterization 5.1 Operating the SITRANSTH200/TH300 Operation and parameterization The SITRANS TH200 is parameterized and operated offline and the SITRANS TH300 online via a PC. You can find more information in the "SITRANS TH200 and TH300 for sensor head" Operating instructions. The PC is connected to the two-wire line using a suitable coupling module. In the case of the SITRANS TH300, the HART modem is a suitable coupling module; for the SITRANS TH200, it is the SIPROM T-modem. The SITRANS TH300 can also be parameterized using a HART communicator. The signals needed for SITRANS TH300 communications in accordance with the HART protocol are superimposed on the output current in accordance with frequency shift keying. Frequency Shift keying is also abbreviated to FSK. Link to TH300 on the Siemens Process Instrumentation portal: https://pia.khe.siemens.com/index.aspx?Nr=14425 Link to Sitrans TH200/TH300 manual: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/23844115, where you can find: Operation of the SITRANS TH300 6.3.1 Operation with the HART modem and SIMATIC PDMYou can both operate the transmitter and assign its parameters via the PC using the SIMATIC PDM parameterization software and the HART modem. 8.1 General InformationThe following functions are available to you when operating the SITRANS TH300/TH200:
-Sensor class and sensor type, e.g. Pt100 resistance thermometer or thermocouple type B – Sensor factor
Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
