Siwarex CS - general questions

To your questions:

1. I am using 7MH4910-0AA01 with IM-ST (standard). The FB delivered (SICS_DR) from Siemens has input called DB_vector. Manual says that only one DB is require for singel CPU, regardless of Siwarex CS number. Let's say i create DB30 for this purpose and i have 5 separate Siwarex CS in my plant. Does it mean that i have to put "30" for DB_vector input in each FB calll?

My answer:
Yes, you are right. You need only one-time the DB_vector. That DB_vector is used for all Siwarex CS modules.

2. Regarding calibration via siwatool. My weighting system consist 3 load cells. Euch load cell can load 90kg. So, the whole weighting system can weight 270kg as a maximum weight. The maximum material weight will be about 70kg. What is the minimum weight for 'Adj. weight 1' parameter? 5% of the 270kg?

My answer:
Yes, you are right. The minimum weight for 'Adj. weight 1' parameter is 5% of the 270kg.
In your case it is 13.5 kg. Pay attention, that is value is the limit value for the adjustment.
That means your adjustment can work or not. I recommend you to use at least 15 or 20 kg for the adjustment.

3. Regarding calibration via siwatool. What in situation when ‘Weighting range’ is equal to 70kg and for unknown reason on the weight someone put 85kg. Is weight will be working correct or the weight value will be invalid?

My answer:
You can also measure 85 kg. That's no problem.
The ‘Weighting range’ is important for other parameters, e.g. the zeroing range.

4 In the DB_SCALE Proc_VAL could be assigned as one of the below values:
0 – Gross/Net weight (default)
1 – Tare weight
2 – Gross process value
3 – Net process value
4 – Tare weight process value
5 – Filtered ADC digit value
6 – Unfiltered ADC digit value
Where in Siwatool can i set one of this? What is the difference between Gross/Net weight (default) and Gross process value or Net process value?

My answer:
You can find all these values in Siwatool into the DR30 (= datarecord 30).
The difference between Gross/Net weight (default) and Gross process value or Net process value is:
When someone tare the scale, then you can see in „Gross/Net weight (default)“ immediately the new tared value (= net weight). When someone delete the tare, then you can see in „Gross/Net weight (default)“ immediately the gross value (= gross weight).
