Siwarex CS without IM 151-1 HF

SolutionFinder Posts: 559 Rating: (87)	Dear All, I have studied & did project on Siwarex CS with IM 151-1 basic, I have also gone through the Getting started & examples given for siwarex CS. But my confusion is that why we should not use scaling & calibration functions in IM 151-1 basic model & why should be go for Im 151-1 HF for the calibration to be done from HMI? Is it possible that by using IM 151-1 basic we can calibrate load cell from HMI? If yes then how?

Siwarexi Gold Expert Joined: 1/4/2007 Last visit: 12/9/2024 Posts: 1156 Rating: (175)	Hello SolutionFinder, If you use the IM151-1 Basic it is not possible to send/receive datarecords between Step7 andthe Siwarex CS, e.g. the datarecord 3 (=DR3). Into the DR3 you can find the parameters for the adjustment, e.g. the adjustment weight or the characteristic value of the load cell. You can see all the parameters of the DR3 into the Siwatool-software. With the IM151-1 Basic you can execute only simple commands like “Adjustment zero valid” or “Adjustment weight 1 valid”. But it is not possible to change the parameter-settings, e.g. the adjustment weight. If you use the IM151-1 HF it is possible to send/receive datarecords between Step7 andthe Siwarex CS, e.g. the datarecord 3 (=DR3). That menas you can also change the parameter-settings e.g. for the adjustment weight (e.g. from "100 kg" to "200 kg"). Best regards Siwarexi
