Siwarex junction box

Walter_1996 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi all! I'm am currently busy with a project where I need to measure 3 compression forces inside a machining proces. For this I want to use a s7-1200 or s7-1500 (depending on the other requirements) cpu for this in combination with a siwarex wp231 or wp321 . Also I need to use a junction box. My question is, Can I connect 3 loadcells to one junction box and still get the individual force measurents or do I need multiple junction boxes for that ? In the documentation it says individual channel monitoring but I need not only monitoring but also the indvidual measument. I am kind of new in the whole siemens programming world.. Siwarexi Gold Expert Joined: 1/4/2007 Last visit: 12/5/2024 Posts: 1153 Rating: (175)	Hello Walter_1996, Unfortunately it’s NOT possible to get the individual force measurements by using only one junction box. If you need the indvidual measurements from your 3 load cells, you have to connect one load cell to one Siwarex module (WP231 or WP321). If you only want to monitor the individual channels (e.g. to detect an error on one load cell), then you can use the Siwarex DB with one Siwarex WP231 or WP321.
