Hi Siwarexi I got one more question, since I'm working again with the scale. I'm trying to set the scale (a brand new scale)just using PLC, without Siwatool. But I've got some trouble. When I send the command code 254, 3, 0, 54 (Command Code, Drive, Offset, Lenght) to read the contenent of the DS3 memory the Siwarex return to me an Error Code 2 that means "Unknow data record number).... I'd like to follow this procedure to set the module, as explained in the manual: - read the contenent of the DS3 memory; - modify the values that I need; - send back the DS3 memory; - read again (double check); -perform Command code 3 and 4; - read again; - perform Command code 1 and 2.... Im I missing something? - It's possible to set the scale and the module for the very first time, using only the PLC? Or - I have to use for the very first time the SIWATOOL to adjust the scale, then use the PLC? I'll be glad if you can give me some hint. Ciao Franco U. Hello Franco U., Your settings: 254, 3, 0, 54 (Command Code, Drive, Offset, Lenght) are working. I tested it with my Siwarex MS module. I used the original Getting Started software: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/22605342 Did you set the Command trigger bit? You didn’t mentioned it in your last post. It's possible to set the scale and the module for the very first time, using only the PLC, if: - the firmware of the Siwarex MS module is V1.3 - you are using the libraries “MicroScale_V20” and “MicroScale_additional” Best regards Siwarexi |
