Siwarexi Gold Expert Joined: 1/4/2007 Last visit: 12/5/2024 Posts: 1153 Rating: (175)	Hello AutoGen, Well, you can use the Siwarex U to communicate directly with a PC by using either the TTY interface or the serial interface of the Siwarex U module. My recommendation is to use the Siwarex WP231 module and use the Ethernet port of that module to communicate with a PC. Here you have to use the Modbus TCP protocol. I guess this is more easier as to use the TTY interface or the serial interface of the Siwarex U. As I know is the company Simplex working on a PC-program (freeware) for the Siwarex WP231 module. That program will be available in the next couple of weeks. With that program you can see the current weight value of the WP231 and you can execute the zeroing/ taring command in a PC. Indeed in a short while AutoGen and the rest of the community will enjoy a free program for convenient monitoring of the new Siwarex modules, namely WP 2x1. Besides of being a freeware, the program will be available for x64 bit Windows 7, 8 and 10 platforms in at least 7 languages. As a small teaser I am sharing a screenshot of the current WP231 mask (please, see the attachment), although the work still continues and it may change slightly in the final release.
