Siwarex U & Siwatool Question

I am new to Siemens PLC and having a hard time to solve the issue. I have few questions here and hope someone can help: 1. Can the siwatool demo version able to do the calibration? I am trying to save cost. 2. Is the any ready source code (writed in LAD/FBD) which show how to read the current converted value. The sample program in siemens website is in STL format, I cant understand well from this format. Thanks in advance.

You can find all STL related information in the manual below: https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/adsearch/resultset.aspx?region=WW&lang=en&netmode=internet&ui=NDAwMDAxNwAA&term=S7+STL+reference&ID=45523446&ehbid=45523446&docid=45523879 About what you can do in Demo mode check your systems manual. I think if you want to work with it you need to buy licence. You can get some limited functionalty in DEMO mode but... My experience is that if you use a siemens software in demo mode you will have issues in the long run. I think the best advice is buy everything what your customer support recomend. Cheers

You have to buy the full version! There exist no demo project for Step7 in LAD or FBD. The S7-program was written in STL. If you need only the weight value in Step7, you can findthe weight value alsoin the periphery address of the Siwarex U module: - Weight value (Channel 1): Periphery-Inputword (x+2) - Weight value (Channel 2): Periphery-Inputword (x+10) x = start-address of the Siwarex U module in the HW Config. This Integer-value is automatically updated each 20 msec. If you need to execute a command (e.g. “Zeroing”), you have to use the STL sample program in siemens website.
