Siwarex via Ethernet/Profinet

Dear Team,

Is it possible to calibrate & program a Siwarex 7MH4950-0AA01 module via Ethernet or Profinet communication medium?

In the Siwatool Demo there is not showing any option for Ethernet/Profinet!

Please Help!

I suppose you mean the Siwarex U one channel 7MH4950-1AA01!?

You can access all parameters of the Siwarex U via S7-Program, therefore you just need to use the getting started example that you find here:  https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/28391777 .

You also have the possibility to connect via RS232 direct to the Siwarex U, for this you need a software that is called Siwatool, the Siwatoo you can by with order no. 7MH4900-1AK01. You have to connect directly to terminals at the terminal block of the Siwarex U, more about that you find in the manual https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/28392477 chapter 4.4.7.
