Siwarex WP231 configure with TP700 ??

Bertus@NBL Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi I do not have siwatool and need to configure an WP231 module. How exaxtly can I connect an TP700 to the module and configure it? If I set up the IP address on the wp231 and the TP700 wil the TP700 automaticly connect with the WP231? Or is there an special setup? Thanks

It’s not necessary to use the Siwatool software to configure the WP231 module. You can also configure the WP231 module with a TP700 Comfort HMI-panel or a TP700 Basic (2nd generation) HMI-panel. You can find an example project on the internet (file: “ready_for_use_modbus.zip”): https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/66825585 With this example project you can connect a TP700 HMI-panel directly to the WP231 module and you configure the WP231 module via the TP700. If you change the IP-address of the WP231 module, you also have to change the partner-IP-address of the HMI-panel (= IP-address of the WP231 module) into the TIA Portal software.
