efe1409 Bronze Member Joined: 11/23/2008 Last visit: 11/29/2023 Posts: 63 Rating: (1)	Yes, it goes through a pipe. There is a flap at the pipe outlet. The opening rate of the damper can be adjusted. There is a plate hit by the product at the valve outlet. A load cell is connected to this plate. Opening the inlet flap according to the value read in the load cell Capacity control is carried out in t/h by changing the rate. I will run each unit independently. I will install it as a central system with S7-1200 PLC. Excuse me for my English.

Siwarexi Gold Expert Joined: 1/4/2007 Last visit: 11/21/2023 Posts: 1071 Rating: (165)	Hello efe1409, At first, you have to be sure, that your load cell can be connected to the Siwarex module. Do you have a technical data sheet of your load cell? When you have a S7-1200 PLC, I recommend you to use the Siwarex WP241 module. This module can handle your application. The Siwarex WP241 module was designed for belt scale applications, but can also be used for solids flowmeters (= your application). (The Siwarex WP231 can only handle static scales, like weighing material in a bin. Therefore you can NOT use this module.) Best regards Siwarexi

This TIA Portal example project is for belt scales. The difference to your application is only, that you have to set the parameters: - in DR3: "Speed detection" to "No sensor - Constant speed" - in DR7: "Assignment digital input DI.0" to "none" That's all to change the WP241 module from a belt scale application to a solids flowmeter application.
