Hello Reichfue, you have the possibility to communicate to the Siwarex WP231 via Modbus RTU and/or Modbus TCP (Ethernet). In chapter 11.2 of the manual you find information to this. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109750432 Also the FAQ https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/77913998 might help you. If you have a Siwarex WT231 the panel is already communicating via Modbus TCP to the integrated Siwarex WP231, therefore the physical Ethernet ports are engaged. So, else you use Modbus RTU or you have to install a switch in order to get a free Ethernet port to connect to the Siwarex WP231 via Modbus TCP. !! Older Siwarex WP231 firmware does not support two Modbus TCP connections at the same time, so I recommend you to update the firmware of the Siwarex WP231 inside the Siwarex WT231 to the actual version. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/75231231 !! For the FW update you need Siwatool V7, this can be ordered with the order no. 7MH4900-1AK01. Regards ABenno |
