Siwerex U Module (Single Channel Module) - CPU 317-2DP with PCS 7

Kumaran12 Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	HI, I am new to Siemens programming. I want a guidance on how to use SIWA_U (FB45) in PCS 7. In our project we are using CPU - 317 2 DP -Siwerex U Module (Single Channel Module). I have tried to import SIWA_U in CFC. but i am getting errors all the time that *OB 35 call FC18 is Missing.* when i tested the sample project as it is with siwerex module it is working fine. when i try to adapt to the PCS 7 (import the FB45 into the CFC) im getting few errors. Quries 1. Is possible to adopt SIWA_U(FB45) in PCS7. 2. what are all the steps i have to follow to use SIWA_U in PCS 7 . just i need two functions only a. Gross weight and b. Zero set value 3. How to Fix the Call FC18 error. your suggesition is highly appreciated. regards, Kumaran

Normally you have to buy the configuration package CD from Siemens for PCS7. You can find the correct order number on the internet: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/10183075 3. As I knoware S7-300 CPUsnot supported in PCS7, only S7-400 CPUs! Anyway, if you get an error message regarding the OB35: Please check this OB35. Unfortunately I don’t know why “FC18” is missing in your project. Best regards Siwarexi

Kumaran12 Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Hi Siwerexi, Thank you for your reply. In our project there are 8 areas are there out of which 6 areas we are using S7 300 CPU. These 300 CPUs are integrated in PCS 7 via Industrial library. All other project related functions are working. Only Siwerex configurations are pending. We are using around 7 nos of Siwerex U modules and these are splitted in two areas(i.e. two S7 300PLC) . We have purchased Siwerex PCS 7 Add on package also. But it is not working in S7300. Calibration and all we have done using Siwatool 2 U. We require two functions from each module to the PLC. Those are Zering and Gross weight. Is it possible write this logic in STL or Ladder and assign to some DB. Regards, Kumaran
