Slider object doesn't display in TP1200

Hey everyone,

I'm using a slider object in a TP1200 comfort panel. I want to change an analog value with this. The problem is that when I simulate the slider there is no problem but on the actual panel it just isn't displayed. I found in the help file of siemens itself that the bar could be hidden. The solution to this should be to deactivate the "display bar" option in the properties of the slider. The problem here is that I can't deactivate it because it's greyed out. Anyone having experience with this?

which TIA Portal / WinCC Version do you use?

Did you activate "Properties > Style/Designs >Style/Design settings" and deactivated it later? Or do you have "Dark default values" selected in "Toolbox > Options"?

In this case the option is greyed out.

If you add a slider when "Classic default values" is selected, then all options are availiable.

What can you do? You could change the style and add another slider besides the default one:

• Go to "Project Tree > Comman Data > Styles". Click right on the used style, if its a default one like "WinCC Dark" and click on "Duplicate type". (Because the defaut ones ar write protected).
• Select the new style. Edit it: Copy&paste the slider, de-select the option and save it.
• Activate style/design for the slider on your screen and choose the rigt slider in "Style Item appearence".

Thank you very much. In the toolbox I had the "Dark default values" selected which caused the "problem". Just changed it to "Classic default values" and it was solved. All options were available as you said.
