Roussey Posts: 37 Rating: (0)	Hi people, There is a 4 wire 4-20mA transducer that I need to install on a SM331 AI 8x13 bit module but I am not sure if I am doing right, exemple: where I set if I'm using 2W or 4W connection. I didn't find a specific module installing diagram, and the documentation that I found just create more doubts. Can anyone help me please.

Roussey Posts: 37 Rating: (0)	So...if it is a 1KF01 module I just can use 2W with external supply, and 4W connecting + at I+ and - at M-, right? And where do I need to specify if I am using 2W or 4W because in the hardware configuration of this module I don't have the choice of 2W AND 4W, do any of then is the same for the PLC right? Thanks.

Roussey Posts: 37 Rating: (0)	I asked that because on the 7KF02 module there is some king of buttons on the side to select the type of measuring (current, voltage, RTD, etç..) and I thought that on 1KF01 ( that I amusing)I had to do something like that to "say" to PLC: hey, "I am using a 4W configuration". But in fact I realized that on 1KF01 modulethere is no 2W configuration, it is possible just if I use an external supply, it does not supply by its own the 4-20mA loop like a typical 2W configuration. I can use the 2 configuration of the figure and for the PLC it doesn't matters. Right? Attachment 2W and 4W.JPG (151 Downloads)
