Hello, I'd like to start off with saying I'm not going to promote another product, but I would simply like to know if the feature I will mention is also available in siemenspanels, more exact comfort panels. I've just saw a HMI from brand B&R which has the option to connect with a VNCclient to this device. Connections between client and server happens by inserting the ip address (which is normal), after inserting the ip address the port needs to defined. Now here's the thing: when connecting to the hmi with port 50003 the client can control the hmi device anditlooks exactlythe same on both client and server side. Now when you enter a different port 50004 (for example), you can control the screen BUT then it is not a 1on1 copy of the hmi screen, but it's a screen with a higher resolution, different layout, but the same controls as the 1on1 copy. Now I know he works with two screens, when connecting with port 50003 he connects to the first screen (1n1 copy) and with port 50004 to the other. So actually the same screens are made twice with different layouts. Now is something like this possible with sm@rtclient? Is it possible, dependant on port to take you to a differnt screen with a different resolution and a different layout? I hope my explaination is clear and I would really appreciate some input. Kind regards, Jens |
