how come Posts: 382 Rating: (47)	Dear all, I have read the maunal about pin 10 & 11 for SM331. I would like to know something more. Does anyone know what does the symbols for pin 10 & 11 represent for SM331. Is it I.E? [see attach] If both pin 10 & 11 are connected to I.E what will happen? Or not advisable at all? Dear how come?, As per your attachment, the pins 10 & 11 is used only for compensation.this function is used to make the measurements of analog channelsmore accurite. May be i didn't put my question in a correct way and you didn't get what I wish to know. I am curious to know what'sthe "inverted T"symbols means. Does it means ground/grounding? Or compensation to I.E?If both pin 10 & 11 are connected to I.E what will happen? Or not advisable at all? Thanks! with regards, how come?

This module is supporting internal and external compensation: Insert a bridge between Comp+ and MANA when using the internal compensation. The interconnection between MANA and M- (terminals 11,&20) as per your attached picture is not required when using groundedtransducers with non-isolated supply. Interconnect M- and MANA when using non-grounded transducers. Also short-circuit the COMP input if this is not used. Regards, Attachment compensation.JPG (250 Downloads)
