Smart Access application in TP 900 Comfort HMI

Hello Everyone,

          I want create Smart Access application for our client. I have made settings as per shown in one of youtube Video( uploaded by siemens) and downloaded same in HMI.

          After trying to open screens from web browser (Internet Explorer 8), I got an error message. I have attached screenshot for your reference.

          Is someone familiar with this error message?

Look in the Taskbar of your Panel. is there on the right side a small icon like this:

then the SmartServer is running. If not then go to Control Panel -> WinCC Internet Settings-> remote and start the Smart Server and control the start Settings.

Try also the access with the Sm@rtClient application. This is installed also on your TIA Portal engeneering System or is on the Installatoin DVD of WinCC (Support/SmartClient)

Hello,

       Yes, I have that symbol under Icons tray of Taskbar. 

      I gone through the link. I have SmartClient.exe file under installation path

    "C:\Program Files\Siemens\Automation\WinCC RT Advanced\SmartClient.exe"

     Then what is next step after I got this file?

     I followed link to download Java 7 update but it says that 

"End of Public Updates for Java SE 7"

    What to do?

be sure that your firewall is deactivated (only for testing)

then start the Smartclient.exe

set the IP Adress of the Panel and connect.

Then if the Panel is accessable you can see a Password login Page.

befor the test oben WinCC internet Settings in the Control Panel of the Panel and define a Passwort under the tab remote. (there is no default value)

If you cannot access the Panel over the Smart client.exe

there is something wrong with the Panels software or the Network configuration.

In this case i would do a Reset to factory Settings with this FAQ:
