Hi there, Does anyone know if Smartservices is supported over a dial-up router to dial-up router connection. The PPP (Point-to-Point) protocol would be used. I would like to set up a connection between our LAN and a remote S7-300 and a MP277 over a phone line. This phone connection would always be on. I would like to use smartservices to control the HMI and have access through Step7 to the S7-300. The MP277 will have to send email when an alarm occurs. Would two TS-Adapter IE work in this case? Dear Horsman, I am sorry but this function, you want to use, is not implemented in the TS Adaptor IE. The interconnection, like with the PROFIBUS version is not possible with the IE version. |
