SMC20 with Cx32

TCDSC Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I am using 2 Cx32's with a D435 controller. On the Cx32's I have SMC20 modules connected with 1FK7015-5AK71-1AA3 motors. I have 10 of the SMC motor combinations. 6 on one Cx32 and 4 on the other. I am getting a fault code of 31806 and 31150 on all 10 drives. In commissioning I entered the correct motor and encoder information. What am I missing?

Deleted User Posts: 767 Rating: (69)	Hello TCDSC, I recommend routing each of the SMC20 components directly into its respective motor module. This is the default arrangement for routing the encoder feedback signals. Then route the motor modules to thier respective CX32 for which they are controlling. TCDSC Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	That's how the network is setup. The topology is correct, and I can identify each SMC20 via LED correctly. The problem is errors on intializing the encoders.
