SMS sendbuffer

Karmat Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Hello. My program use sms-library, loaded from Siemens url. Sms sendsare trigged bydigital inputs (sendin user alarms by sms). Now if inputs are trigged quickly, sms library can not send all triggeds, because sms sendin in busy of previous send. I need to do sendbufferstack. .Alarms filling the sendbuffer stack and routine sends alarms depending sendin routine busy. How to do sendbuffer stack?? I am not very pro with s7-1200.

Rohit Bhatia Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hello Karmat, Well, I have a block that buffers data and was made specifically for the GPRS application on the S7-1200. This can be used for other communication media too. The block bufferes data / process values in Array(s) with or without timestamps (configurable). Since you're talking about SMS, you would be dealing with Strings and not other data type. Having an array of String type is currently not possible. Do you have the possibility of buffering, for instance, status codes (like integers, DINT, BYTE etc) based on the alarm? Then you could "transfer" different strings based on the error codes...that might work! If yes, this can be useful! Karmat Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Hello. Thanks a good idea. I can do a alarm table, based numbers between 0 - 15. Or more... Andwhen alarm input(s) triggeds, alarm number(s) goes to the buffer and when send is not busy, send routine get alarm-text from alarm-table and sends the sms.it's easier to do numberbuffer than string buffer. Thank you.
