Is there an example project project for sending SMS using a TC35i Siemens modem and CP340 RS232C? The CPU is 315-2 DP.

unfortunately not. There is an example with S7-200 or S7-1200  and TC35i.

Some AT commands for TC35i are the same as the ones for the MODEM MD720.  You could have a look at the following example for CP 340 with MD 720 to see how the SMS program structure should be like.
