SNMP Agent is not Responding

baz12 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi, I'm currently trying to access logs from an OSM ITP62 switch using Web Based Management. I have enabled SNMP service on via CLI and enabled the component on the PC, but I am still getting the message "SNMP Agent is Not Responding" the dialog then goes on to say to check that SNMP is enabled on the OSM. Any ideas? Thanks, Baz

baz12 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi J_Bell, Thanks for your suggestions. Yes I did restart both the OSM and the PC after I enabled SNMP as a Windows component and added it to the network configuration. I can't remember if I cycled power to the OSM, I thought sending the "Restart" command through the CLI would have had the same effect. Thanks, Bazza

baz12 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi J_Bell, Managed to find a manual about the OSMs that talks about setting permissions with Java VM and Internet Explorer. After I followed the steps, everything worked fine. The manual is called "Industrial Ethernet OSM/ESM Network Management" and the settings are in appendix A. Regards, Baz
