SNMP MIB's

Control Boy Posts: 60 Rating: (0)	Hi, Has anyone configured the 1200 for SNMP connections? The protocol is supported but I cannot find any reference material. I have not used SNMP before but after a bit of searching each agent (slave) has a MIB file that holds the required data. I'm guessing there is a function to convert a DB to a MIB or similar but I cannot confirm or find anything. SNMP utilised UDP port 161 so maybe the TUSEND function is required?

Control Boy Posts: 60 Rating: (0)	FYI Our supplier has spoken with Siemens in Germany about this, the only SNMP functions the 1200 supports is IP query. The query returns the PLC name etc. At the moment, the IO cannot be mapped to a OID which is a SNMP type register. Cheers.
