Soft Redundant of CPU315-2DP

We have aproject using CPU 315-2DP which should be used in soft redundant configuration.I have uploaded program.Please look into this.After downloading the program,i do not get any errors on the hardware.Redundancy is acheived through MPI port of the PLC My list of queries : 1.How do we check whether software redundancy is working 2.Should we program on each stations seperately anddownload it on each of the PLC. 3.What is the next step i should proceed with this program 4.Should we create DB1,DB2,DB3,DB11 as global data blocks on each station. I have read all related threads and manual regarding this.Need support in specific to this configuration. Your immediate response is highly appreciable!! Eastern Posts: 557 Rating: (64)	Hello, In your redundent data, on one output & stop master PLC. If your redundence is working it will be still on. Also try analog signal on HMI see the the graph in the same way if is there any disturbance in your graph that mean redundence is not working. you can referdemo program from siemems software for ob1 & ob100 program. Regards

When we have project with R system we check the following 1. Do signal are switched on. When the relay is energised we switch the CPU so that the contact do not break during the change over. 2. AO signal is fed as say 50 % & check for the 4- 20 mA signal. When change over happens the drop should be minimal say 1 to 3 % only. See the above point is tested. But out of this only the point 1 is tested as the Digital signal is either 1 or 0. Change over should not switch off the Motor or feeders. Any bump as in above will not affect as in DO signal.
