Softkey - wrong result

On picture 01 is part of diagram. On picture 02 is configuration of Message text. On picture 03 is result. On picture 04 is Resource used of Logo! 8 Why block B325 Softkey is shows as “?N7” ? Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, in your example the Softkey will only do something if you aktivate I3 first. Softwarekey requires a signal HIGH or LOW in front, if you then change the status of the softkey to "ON", then it switches the signal in fromt of it. Check my example to get some experiances. In the Logo software problems of various kinds can occur when the block numbers are higher than 200. Remedy to your problem could create the following: Replace a simple block as an AND or an OR block with small number. Only replace, not delete. This small number is free again. Now delete the block B325 and add a new softkey. This now gets the free, small number. Attachment Replace.wmv (39 Downloads)

I am not sure that this is in Logo! manual. That is not in the manual, but in the Siemens technical forum. There are various posts both in the german and in the english part of the forum.

Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, the block number was an issue at the beginning of LOGO! 8. I use LOGO! 8 at the beginning and with the todays LOGO! I never had this again.
