Davinator Gold Member Joined: 1/4/2013 Last visit: 4/25/2025 Posts: 1175 Rating: (106)	Well, as of CU305 (sigh :() tia do not support it NATIVELY, which means that you have to import them using a GSD and not directly from catalog. But more precisely their programmation (DI/DOs,Telegram, Safety, ecc ecc ecc ecc) cannot be done from Scout but can be done with Starter. This means having one starter and one TIA projects which is really opposite to Totally Integrated Automation because this is a PIA (partially integrated automation). It is supposed that Siemens didn't want to include som CUs in the new TIA package because they are obsolete or already replaced by newer ones...

Regards Christoph The c230-2 available in V4.4 scout is c230-2.1 and it's firmware is 3.2 to 4.1 In scout 4.3 this availabe c230-2 firmware 3.2 and c230-2.1 There is no c230-2 with firmware <3.2 Thread starter canot open with scout 4.4, so this not c230-2.1 and he need scout v4.3

There is no difference in device support between V4.3 and V4.4! Since Scout V4.2 no FW Version <3.2 was supported ! Regards Christoph
