[quote user="Heartwhisper1"]Whenever i try to open any program block ( OB, FB, FC...) in any project it does not open and show the message " Internal OLE error " Hi, It looks like something wrongs is happened to your registry.... [:(] The only thing that then might work is a complete deinstallation with also the registry... Complete deinstallation of STEP 7 including all software packages Please be careful that you first deinstall all Simatic software and then looks what to do in the registry... [:o] Good luck, if this won't change something in your problem, please let us know. |
I hope that the answer will help, if you have still questions, don't hesitate to ask me. |

Hello, Since a reinstallation didn't helped the following FAQ could be interesting: Notes on error message 256:26 "An OLE error has occurred" And since you are using Step 7 v5.1 I will also advice to check the compatibility list which is on the Custoemr Support site to check or your Operating System is compatible with your Step 7 version. Compatibility of STEP 7 versions with the MS Windows operating systems Best regards, INS |

Hi, what are you using STEP7 or PCS7 ES???? Check the compatibility matrix: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/2334224 And always keep in mind, that at PCS7 always have to use the PCS7 CD/DVDs for installation. NEVER install from a separate STEP7 or WinCC CD. Did you install any other software after having installed PCS7? => PCS7 must be the last software package in your installation sequence. nemo |
