My only word of caution is for the DEADT_P block, it is based purely on OB Scan class assigned and 30 registers made available (whereas DeadTime APL block provides 100 registers and you can configure deadtime in seconds, it calculates the appropriate number of registers to use and how often to store values). In other words if block placed in a 500 ms OB then deadtime will be 30 registers times 500 ms or 15 secs. Will need to daisy chain these blocks in order to configure the required deadtime. cabreytj

I think what he meant is to change the exceution time of the cylcic OB you placed your blocks in. Like OB35.... but if you chance the time of on OB to 1000ms be carfuly not to place anything else of your program there....

minhajie Posts: 96 Rating: (10)	Hi Ahmed, The APL block give you a pulse output, you can set the duration of on and off pulse which I don't think you need. Instead of upgrading the library which is not that simple I would suggest you use similar funcation available to you. What you can do for APl block is either develop a logic for this function for you can define a Memorey word in the hardware config of CPU which will give you different duration pulse on each bit of the memorey word. The sysmbols of the memorey can tell you what is the pulseduration of the bit ( generated automatically once hardware is compiled after definning the memmorey word). What I would suggest is for your average calculation design a block ( SCL is better). The scan cycly , I suggest you change the Sample input on the blocks and not the OB scan as it will change the scan of all the block that are already in that OB. Hope this was helpful. Regards, mk
