I need to have possibility to program hardware config and all software over internet, because unit is a far away from me.

How is this possible, and which software and hardware i need.

Hello,

you need a Internet Connection to the PLC, an for secure a VPN connection.

So you need a Router with Internetaccess on both locations, and then a VPN connection like Teamviewer to establish a secure connection trough the vpn.

But this can only be work if the PLC on the farfaraway location is prepared for this use case, IP is configured etc.

so I need static IP only on server side (PC side)?

I have M873-0 on PLC side, and Scalance S623 on PC side.

Can I config them separately? M873 over browser, and S623 with Securitiy Configuration Tool?
