Thank you huggy_d1 for your reply. Your suggestion does not work - but it was the catalyst in finding the solution. I tried to make your solution work. I used the "copy to text" command to extract the information from the DB (DB1200). Creating a new iMotionDB did not work. But with new information I went back to the previous solution (see the original JPEG). The declaration of #AXIS in the IN/OUT is now declared as data type "TO_PositioningAxis".. which is not on any look up selection list and only works in the IN/OUT section of the FB. Now it works. I can create a generic code block that encapsulates the standard motion control in a way that I want to use them. Thank you.. this one is solved! w |
